Program Purpose:

Dads Moving Forward equips fathers with the personal development, workforce readiness, and systems-navigation skills needed to optimize their lives, strengthen their families & faith, and achieve economic mobility—while fostering community leadership through brotherhood and accountability.

Program Overview:

Dads Moving Forward (DMF) is a 12-month comprehensive fatherhood and workforce development program designed to support fathers in building stable, healthy, and economically secure lives. Through a combination of personal development, job readiness training, and systems navigation, DMF equips participants with the tools they need to overcome barriers and create lasting change for themselves and their families.

The program takes a holistic approach—recognizing that fathers thrive when they are supported not only professionally, but personally and relationally. Participants engage in structured workshops, group discussions, one-on-one coaching, and peer advocacy that focus on emotional wellness, responsible fatherhood, financial literacy, and career advancement.

At the core of Dads Moving Forward is brotherhood and accountability. Fathers are connected to a strong network of peers who encourage growth, share experiences, and hold one another accountable to their goals. This sense of community fosters leadership, confidence, and long-term success both inside and outside the program.

Through Dads Moving Forward, fathers don’t just gain skills—they build a foundation for generational impact, strengthening their families and contributing to a thriving community.

Program Impact:

Dads Moving Forward creates a meaningful, lasting impact by equipping fathers with the tools, resources, and support needed to thrive in every area of life. Through a holistic approach, participants experience growth across four key pillars:

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

Fathers gain the skills and confidence needed to secure and retain employment. Through job-readiness training, resume building, interview preparation, and career pathway exploration, participants are positioned to increase their income and pursue long-term economic stability.

SELF DISCOVERY

Participants are guided through a journey of personal growth and reflection. Fathers strengthen their sense of identity, purpose, and accountability while developing the mindset needed to overcome challenges and lead with intention.

HEALTH & WELLNESS

The program prioritizes both mental and physical well-being. Fathers engage in conversations and activities that promote stress management, emotional intelligence, self care, and healthier lifestyle choices—helping them show up fully for themselves and their families.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

Fathers build practical money management skills that support long-term stability. Through budgeting, saving, and financial planning, participants learn how to make informed decisions and create a stronger financial future through practical application. Establishing a legacy for their families.
