Emahjae Hayes
Family Success Coach
Emahjae Hayes holds a master’s degree in social work from Johnson C. Smith University. She joined Freedom Communities as a Family Success Coach in November 2025. Her experience includes working as a Child Welfare Specialist and a Work First Employment Services Social Worker with Mecklenburg County's Department of Social Services. Additionally, she has worked as a Team Lead in Community Link's Homeless to Housing Program. She also previously served as a Property Manager and Resident Services Coordinator with Westminster Property Management Company. Emahjae is adept at balancing the demands of various human services needs with enthusiasm and compassion. Emahjae loves dance and is a yoga fan, and we are so thrilled to have Emahjae in our Moms Moving Forward program to advocate for our cohorts!
