Trina R. Holloway has spent the last 9 years as Qualified Mental Health professional working to support families navigate the various systems of care from CMS, DJJ to YFS while keeping the families together thriving for positive outcomes through advocacy and providing tools for sustainability. Former Community Liaison working with Latino/Hispanic population on the East side of Charlotte to bring cultural awareness creating events to bridging the gaps to share commonalities of the African American and Latino/Hispanic populations.
Trina native of Charlotte, a mother, wife and friend; earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and AS Human Services, has two adult sons, 6 grandchildren and two great grands. During moments of self-care Trina enjoys crafting jewelry, drawing and reading a good book while listening to music. Before transitioning into the nonprofit sector Trina has worked as a security officer, store/assistant retail manager, shoe sales and the fast-food industry.
